Statement regarding Heritage Land Rover Show 2012/2013
With the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Games, 2012 is a very busy year for the UK events industry, so the Heritage Motor Centre (HMC) has decided to take this opportunity to give one of its major events a break for 2012. Emma Rawlinson, Events Executive for Heritage Motor Centre said “Giving ‘Heritage Land Rover Show’
a break in 2012 will allow our events team to act on show feedback and make some exciting changes to bring the show back in 2013 bigger and better.”
The highly successful Heritage Land Rover Show, which usually takes place each year in April/May, will take a break in 2012 but return in June 2013 as a new improved Land Rover Lifestyle show. Land Rover enthusiasts can still look forward to an exclusive 2012 Heritage Run from Lode
Lane in Solihull to the HMC on Sunday 30 September 2012. This special Run will be limited to just 100 Land Rover vehicles including classic and present day models and will be an amazing spectacle to watch. All input from Land Rover enthusiasts as to how the new Lifestyle show should be shaped would also be welcomed and can be emailed to events@heritage-motor-centre.co.uk.
Throughout 2012, the HMC is still organising an extensive and varied programme of exciting and unique events including special events themed around the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Other key events and exhibitions taking place in 2012 will include the Motoring Record Breakers Exhibition, MGB 50th Anniversary Road Run, Spring Classic & Cream Tea Run, UK Slot Car Festival, Classic and Vintage Commercial Show, Banbury Run, a revamped Mini Show, BMW Festival and Retro Truck Show.
