The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust's (BMIHT) Archive, which is housed at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, has created a new service for classic car owners, the Heritage Certificate and Technical Specification package.
The new package offers a service for classic car owners who require additional technical information for their car. Often, when Classic Car owners are presenting their vehicle to an official licensing, registration or importation authority, they're required to provide extra information than can't be found in the factory record.
This expanded package should answer all the questions owners are likely to be asked. It includes a full Heritage Certificate listing all the information recorded against a vehicle's chassis number from the original factory build ledgers. Plus a Technical Specification Sheet researched from the Trust's vast archive of original workshop and owner's manuals and presented on a BMIHT letterhead.
This service is now available for the following vehicles:
- MG 1953-1980
- Triumph 1953-80
- Mini 1959-69
- Austin Healey 1953-71
- Morris Minor 1948-71
- Land Rover (including Range Rover) 1948-89
Classic car owners can order the package now from the Heritage Motor Centre's online shop. |
