The Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon is looking for character/costume team members for its 2010 events and museum programme.
As a member of our team, you will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Portray various characters in costume as required
- Act as compere on museum event days
- Co-ordinate activities on the day
- Supervise art and craft activities
- Deliver guided tours of the museum
- Provide visitor queue marshalling
- Assist with set-up and break-down of events
- Assist with visitor safety and comply with risk assessment
You will have a real flair for improvisation and bring a flexible approach to the role as well as a positive, upbeat and team spirited personality.
There is a requirement to attend a wide variety of event days planned for 2010, reporting for duty as early as 07.00 and finishing at 17.00. You will be fully trained to develop the skills as a competent member of our team.
The role is offered on a casual basis at £6.76 per hour and the successful candidate will be subject to a CRB check.
