The Heritage Motor Centre hosted the Land Rover Vision Event, which included a dinner along with two global market meetings. The aim of this particular event was to highlight Land Rover's future direction and product strategy and the Heritage Motor Centre provided the ideal location with regards to facilities and the Land Rover exhibits owned by the museum.
To create an extra special event, the museum exhibition hall itself was turned into a bespoke dining and entertainment area. Helen Lakin, Land Rover Global Events Manager explains:
"The Heritage Motor Centre staff were proactive and keen to take on board our thoughts and ideas and worked alongside us throughout to ensure that our event met the high standards we had set for it ".
With 180 guests from a large number of Global Markets in attendance, it was essential that the dinner menu was not only of a high standard, but was also one that crossed the culinary divide between several continents.
Catering Manager Tom O'Reilly and Head Chef Paul Kelly worked closely with the Land Rover team to develop a series of dishes that ultimately tempted every palate.
Helen said, "Feedback from the guests was extremely positive, the Heritage Motor Centre staff were attentive and co-operative and I would certainly consider the venue for future events. It has ably demonstrated that it offers more diverse and flexible options than some other conference facilities."
